PEAR AND SPROUT SMOOTHIE FOR A SWEET SNACK.

 

Category

 1 tbsp broccoli or Rape sprouting seed
 2 cups fresh juice from sweet apples or rice milk
 ½ sweet apple
 20 g fresh or frozen blueberries
 1 ripe banana
 2 ice cubes
 1 tbsp Oil of Life or Udo's Choice

Let the Broccoli and/or Rape seeds soak for 8 hours and sprout for 6-7 days till they unfold their leaves.

Blend all ingredients except a couple of sprouts. Serve immediately in a bowl or glass with sprouts as a garnish.

TIP Broccoli and Rape sprouts develop their characteristic root hairs which can be eaten but they look less decorative in a salad. Therefore, the roots are good for blending with a smoothie.
