SproutPearl Sprouter with 2 Seed Trays means you get: 1 Lid, 2 Seed trays and 1 Bottom. You also get 1 portion bag of sprouting seeds in your own choice.

You can use this Sprouter to grow both Sprouts and Microgreens. The plants will grow in your kitchen all year in any climate. The temperature just need to be 17-25 ºC in the room. Cooler will make the sprouts grow very slowly. Warmer will make them grow very fast.

Parts in this Danish design sprouter

This SproutPearl Sprouter with 2 Trays consists of four parts: 1 Bottom, 2 Seed trays and 1 Top/Lid.
Inside the seed tray is a fixed partition. This is so you can grow different sprouts in each half of the tray. This way you can grow the same variety in the whole tray, or one variety in one half and another variety in the other half. Or you can start one half on day 1 and the other half on day 4. This way you can harvest fresh sprouts every day. Each seed tray gives you two large handfuls of sprouts in each half of the seed tray.

Sprouting seeds for the sprouter

This Sprouter SproutPearl supports all varieties of microgreens and sprouts. From seed to harvest ready sprouts or microgreen. Only gelling seeds like Cress, Mizuna, Arugula/Rucola, Chia or Mustard need to grow on organic cotton or hemp mat. All the rest of your seeds can grow dorectly in the seed tray. Transparent sprouter for your homegrown plants

The SproutPearl is a completely colorless and transparent microgreen container. You will notice, that both the middle part seed tray and the top part lid are transparent. Only the lower part – the bottom tray – is matt on the outside. This bottom tray is where the roots grow into as the plants grow bigger. This design and transparency is nice for you, as it will let you see the sprouts very easily.

Sprouter with holes

The SproutPearl Sprouter has holes in the lid and seed tray. In the lid, so the plants can breathe. Holes in the seed tray so excess water can run out. The SproutPearl Danish design by Fresh Sprouts. The design is lightweight and transparent with soft round edges in the light Scandinavian design.

Small Sprouter for your Kitchen

This Sprouter is small enough to fit in all kitchens. The sprouting device is 12 cm high as each tray is 4 cm high and 18 cm in diameter. You can add up to 4 seed trays – the middle parts – to your sprouter and build it even higher if you wish.

Easy to clean Sprouter

The SproutPearl Sprouter with 2 seed trays is very easy to wash it by hand with a soft, clean sponge, dish soap and 40 degrees °C hot water. For a suitable sponge, I recommend the environmentally friendly Cellulose Sponge from plant fibers >

Environment-friendly microgreen and sprout cultivation

As you can reuse this Sprouter again and again for several years, it is quite environment friendly even though it is made from plastic. The SproutPearl is produced in Denmark with all the high environment standards that apply in our country.The plastic can be remelted and used for other purposes if needed. This is green recycling for the benefit of the environment.

BPA-free and food proof Sprouter

The plastic for the Sprouting device is BPA-free and food proof by the Danish Food Department. There are no phthalates, colour nor BPA in the plastic used for the container. So this is a container, you can enjoy with good conscience.

Biodegradable sponge

In your Sprouter Kit you also get an environmentally friendly cleaning sponge. The Sprouter SproutPearl is dishwasher safe on a plastic program, but sprouts do not like soap residues. Therefore, I recommend that you wash your SproutPearl by hand as often as possible using this sponge. The sponge is white, 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly. The sponge is produced from wood fibers – cellulose – but it does not scratch your sprout tray.

It is a good rule of thumb, that you only use the sponge for your Sprouter. This way you will not transfer bacteria into your sprouter from other tasks. You should also use only allergy-friendly dishwashing detergent for your sprouter. That type of soap contains no harmful substances to your sprouts. Rinse with warm water, squeeze the sponge and let it dry. With this generous treatment, your Sponge lasts for many months.

Aerator for Sprout cultivation

The Aerator is a smart adapter for your faucet / Kitchen tap. With this aerator you can set the water jets to be gentle on your sprouts.
You choose between a white / chrome or a completely white Aerator in your Sprouter Kit.

Both versions are German produced, so they are of good quality. The difference between the two aerators is, that the Chrome / White variety has a head with a chrome surface. The white one has a white head of hard plastic. Both have plastic threads to attach the aerator on the faucet.

Both colors of the water saving faucet aerator are the same size. They are made to fit kitchen faucets that follow the set EU standards. However, I recommend, that you always measure the size of the thread on your faucet, before buying your new aerator water swivel. That way, you are sure it fits your kitchen faucet.

The size of the outer thread must be: 2.1 cm
The size of the inner thread should be: 2.3 cm

Seed reminder for the Sprout Kit

The Seed Reminder in the Sprout Kit is a transparent chip made from plastic. The purpose is that you place the chip over the middle partition inside your SproutPearl seed tray. The chip will stay there throughout the cultivation of your sprouts.

The Seed Reminder has the number 1 on one half and 2 on the other. The purpose is that you write on the accompanying cards what you grow in each half of the tray.

It is important to remember what you are growing, as not all sprouts need to be grown for the same length of time. With the Seed Reminder you can easily see what you are growing in your tray and thus when the sown sprouts should be harvested.

You can reuse the Seed Reminder many times as you can take it out of the tray, clean it and put it down over the partition again and again.

When you want to grow even more sprouts in the same container. You can have up to 5 seed trays in the same SproutPearl.

BOTTOM
When you have two or more seed trays in the same sprouter and would like to rotate your seed trays while rinsing them. Then an extra bottom makes it easier.

This Ceramic Sprouter is made for gelling seeds such as Cress, Mizuna, Rucola, Mustard and Tatsoi.
