SPROUTS

How you grow Sprouts

Sprouts are ripe in just 2-6 days. They are harvested either when they have a short root or when they unfold the first set of small leaves.

To grow Sprouts you need Seeds + Water + SproutPearl.
Step 1-6 show how to grow your own fresh Sprouts.

Sprouts need oxygen and space, so accurate measurement of the amount is important.

To start the germination in the seeds you must first soak the seeds you wish to grow.

Once your seeds have soaked, pour them in the sprouter where they will grow.

Sprouts love shade as the sun is too hot. Close to the kitchen sink is a good spot.

Seeds and sprouts need to be rinsed with cool drinking water 2 x daily.

When your sprouts are the desired size, you can harvest, rinse and eat them.

MICROGREENS

How you grow Microgreens

You can grow your Microgreens in a SproutPearl in 12-14 days.
You will need: Seeds + Water + SproutPearl + Light + Fertilizer for microgreens.

When you grow Microgreens instead of Sprouts, each plant grows larger.
You use the same seeds for both plant sizes.

Step 1 microgreen guide

The start of growing Microgreens is just like if you grow Sprouts. So follow the guide above till day 6 – but remember there need to be fewer seeds per cm2.

MICROGREEN KITS
Step 2 microgreen guide

Microgreens are larger than Sprouts. There should be 1/5 fewer plants when you grow Microgreens compared to Sprouts. Thin out the plants if necessary.

SEEDS FOR MICROGREENS
Step 3 microgreen guide

Your Microgreens still need to be constantly slightly moist but not wet around the roots. So give them a quick rinse with drinkable water morning and evening.

To grow Sprouts into the larger Microgreens, the plants must have light from an LED growth bulb from day 7 of their growth.

LIGHT FOR MICROGREENS
Step 5 microgreen guide

Rinse the plants as usual and finish each morning rinse by spraying fertilizer on the roots from day 7 and until harvest.

FERTILIZER FOR MICROGREENS
Step 6 microgreen guide

On day 12-14 you can harvest your microgreens. Rinse thoroughly and remove roots. Eat only stems + leaves.
