Saturating Alfalfa and Clover Sprout Smoothie

  • 2 tbsp mixed Alfalfa and Clover seeds
  • 15 g fresh ginger
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ lime
  • ½ sweet orange
  • 15 g pineapple
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tsp omega 3-6-9 oil


  • Let the Alfalfa, Broccoli and Clover soak in the same glass for 8 hours. Sprout them for 6-7 days untill the first leaf unfold. Then rinse them in a bowl untill the seed hulls are gone.
  • Juice the citrus fruits and pour the juice in the blender. Add the remaining ingredients except a few sprouts for decoration. Blend thoroughly till the consistency is creamy. Serve in a small bowl or glass with sprouts at the top.
  • Tip You can add some sprouted peas with a short root to achieve more protein and filling fibre in the smoothie.
