Saturating Alfalfa and Clover Sprout Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp mixed Alfalfa and Clover seeds
- 15 g fresh ginger
- ½ lemon
- ½ lime
- ½ sweet orange
- 15 g pineapple
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- ½ avocado
- 1 tsp omega 3-6-9 oil
Instructions
- Let the Alfalfa, Broccoli and Clover soak in the same glass for 8 hours. Sprout them for 6-7 days untill the first leaf unfold. Then rinse them in a bowl untill the seed hulls are gone.
- Juice the citrus fruits and pour the juice in the blender. Add the remaining ingredients except a few sprouts for decoration. Blend thoroughly till the consistency is creamy. Serve in a small bowl or glass with sprouts at the top.
- Tip You can add some sprouted peas with a short root to achieve more protein and filling fibre in the smoothie.
