Ingredients

  • 15 g dry peas for sprouts
  • 3 tbsp organic chia seeds
  • ½ cup rice milk or almond milk
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds or flaxseed
  • 1 dash cinnamon powder

Instructions

  • Soak the peas for 8 hours and then grow for 2-3 days until the white root is 1 cm long. Make sure to keep the peas moist with rinsing every morning and evening so that they become sweet and crispy. If they dry out, they become bitter in taste.
  • Soak the chia seeds in the plant milk for 1-2 hours. If you use your serving bowl, you do not need to move the porridge over when it is ready. Set the porridge to soak in your refrigerator.
  • While the chia seeds are soaking in the fridge, soak the other seeds in a glass of water to neutralize their anti-nutrients. It gives you a better absorption of their nutrients when you eat the seeds. After 1-2 hours, pour off the water and the seeds are ready for your porridge.
  • Rinse and cut the pea sprouts finely. Mix seeds and finely chopped peas in the now thick chia porridge. Sprinkle with cinnamon and the porridge is ready to be served.
