Moundy roots on Radish
Please note, that Radish develop very fine roots that look like mould during the first 3-4 days of cultivation. You can eat the roots on sprouts. On microgreens you may find the roots are too long to eat and so ypu can cut them of as you harvest the plants.
Taste and use in food
Your home-grown microgreens of Red radish has a delicious taste of newly harvested radish. This is the strongest tasting Radish in this webshop. The mildest is the Daikon radish. Rose radish is in between the two. When you grow Red radish, you only need a few plants to fill your taste buds. They will go well as taste decor in most green dishes as a spicy ingredient in sandwiches, green salads, dips and wraps.
Cultivation time of organic Red Radish seeds for Microgreens
You can grow your organic Red radish seeds into either sprouts or microgreens. If your kitchen temperature is 18-23 ° C / 64-73 ° F, your Red radish sprouts should be ready for harvest after 6 days of cultivation. At the same temperature, they should have grown to mature microgreens after a total of 12 days.

Radish sprouts can grow in any sprouting device. The longer Radish Microgreens will, however, give the best result in a SproutPearl sprouter or a Hemp mat. This is because these two methods let the plants get plenty of room to grow and ventilation around the plant tops.
