Measure the amount of organic Mizuna seeds. 15 x 15 cm cotton woll or hemp on a tray needs 3 gram dry seeds.

Soak the cotton or hemp mat in fresh, cold, drinking water and distribute the seeds evenly. Place the tray in shade.
3
While the cotton/hemp is soaked, your Mizuna seeds absorb the needed amount of water to start sprouting.

Keep the cotton/mat constantly moist but not directly wet for the next 7 days. Place the tray in shade.
5
Your Mizuna sprouts are mature after 6 days, and your microgreens are ready for harvest after 14 days.
6
As the plants grow on cotton or hemp mats, you can only eat the stems and leaves on your Mizuna plants.
TIPS FOR MIZUNA
SPROUTS & MICROGREENS
COTTON OR HEMP MAT
Mizuna need to grow on cotton woll or hemp mats as these seeds are mucilaginous – they form gel when wet.
Whether you choose cotton or hemp is not important.
However, it is important, that you choose 100% organic quality. This way your plants do not absorb unwanted substances, but can grow well and healthy for your benefit.

CHOOSE SPROUTING SEEDS
You can often buy Mizuna seeds for garden cultivation.
But non-organic garden seeds are often sprayed with anti-fungi to help them withstand the natural fungi and bacteria in soil.
However, anti-fungi will give you a stomach ache, so always only buy certified sprouting seeds for your sprouts and microgreens cultivation.
